About Certified Filter Fit
Certified Filter Fit answers two questions people ask when the fridge's "replace filter" light comes on:
- Which filter fits my fridge?
- Is the cheaper one actually certified to do what it says?
What we do
- Each filter page lists fridge models only when a manufacturer source names them, and links to that source.
- We check certification claims against public certifier listings, mainly NSF's listings, and link to the live record so you can check it yourself.
- Every page shows the date we last checked our sources ("Verified on") and lists every source we used.
- If we can't confirm something, we say so with an Unverified label or leave it out.
What we don't do
- No made-up reviews, star ratings or "best overall" awards. We haven't lab-tested these filters ourselves, so we won't pretend we have.
- No guessing fit from look-alike model numbers. See How we verify.
- We're not affiliated with GE Appliances, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, NSF or any other brand named on the site. Brand names and part numbers belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
How the site makes money
At the moment it doesn't: the site has no affiliate links yet. If we add retailer affiliate links later, we'll label them as such, and our affiliate disclosure explains how they work. Commissions never decide what a page says about fit or certification.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, such as a model that's missing or a listing that has changed, email [email protected]. We re-check the sources and update the page and its "Verified on" date.
