What we collect

Certified Filter Fit is a static website. Right now:

  • No accounts, no forms, no cookies set by us, and no advertising trackers.
  • The search box runs entirely in your browser against a file downloaded from this site. Your searches aren't sent to us.
  • Cookie-free visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, which pages are read, referring sites, and broad country and device type. It sets no cookies, doesn't use local storage, doesn't fingerprint you and doesn't track you across sites. We only see totals, never who you are.
  • Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) for security and operations. We don't use them to identify you.

We link to manufacturers, NSF and other sources. When you click through, you're on their site and under their privacy policy.

If we add retailer affiliate links later (see our affiliate disclosure), the retailer may set cookies once you click through, so it can credit the referral. That happens on the retailer's site, under the retailer's policy.

If this changes

If we add other analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking, we'll update this page and its "Last updated" date before turning it on. Where the law requires it, we'll also ask for your consent.
